Covid-19 Company Update

To our valued clients at this difficult time,

OFP Timber Frame and Discovery Stairs principle operating criteria remain:

  1. To provide a safe working environment, information and support for our employees, suppliers, and clients working within the parameters of government guidance to ensure the minimisation and continued reduction in the contraction and spread of the COVID19 virus.
  2. To communicate clearly to our employees, suppliers, and clients to ensure understanding of their functionality, working procedures and delivery requirements, and to respond with achievable and realistic programme dates.
  3. OFP Timber Frame and Discovery Stairs management to continue to monitor the ongoing situation to allow appropriate and timely response to changing government advice as well as evolving working practices.

In response to the phased return to site works for the majority of our clients, OFP Timber Frame has now resumed partial factory operations, albeit currently at significantly reduced capacity and productivity to ensure adherence to government advice on social distancing.

With the intent of ensuring client requirements are met wherever possible, we will be commencing a second factory shift commencing 4th May to increase productivity whilst maintaining safe systems of work. Improvements to output and program will be advised on an individual basis where possible.

Estimating, design, engineering, contracts, procurement, and accounts functions are fully functional. Our contract managers are playing a key role in liaising with our clients to ensure understanding delivery of client requirements and the management of the phased return to site installation.

As site works resume, OFP Timber Frame and Discovery Stairs have enacted updated procedures and RAMS to ensure compliance with the most recently published government advice through the Construction Leadership Council and to promote the information, training, and instruction to our site installation and management teams. As valued clients, we commit to working collaboratively with you all to follow your site-specific guidance on safe working whilst implementing our own procedures and will continue to monitor this over the coming weeks.

We thank you for all your cooperation and understanding, and please, keep your family and loved ones safe by continuing to respect the Stay at Home policy wherever possible.
